I want to tell you about the experience of injections of prednisolone to a baby-born and an adult https://prednisoned.com/. With a 4-month-old child, we ended up in a hospital. Rapidly developing polysegmentary pneumonia, complicated by bronchial obstruction. How treat asthma with Prednisone?

The College would like to thank all students who submitted an application for the Capital Credit Union Scholarship. There were a lot of entries this year and it was obvious from the entries that applicants put a great deal of thought into completing them. Unfortunately there were only 4 scholarships offered of €500. We would like to thank Capital Credit Union in Dundrum for continuing to sponsor this Scholarship scheme. https://www.facebook.com/capitalcu.ie/

The 4 applicants chosen to be recipients of this year’s scholarships are:

· Nathalie Daly – Legal Secretary
· Saoirse Larkin – Business & Payroll Administration
· Chloe McKenzie– Early Childhood Care & Education
· Peter Meaney – Gardening & Landscape Design

We would like to congratulate them on their success and wish them well in their studies.

Congratulations to Dundrum CFE students who won the recent Sand Sculpture competition hosted by the DDLETB Student Society in Portmarnock yesterday. The successful event saw participants compete with sand, Fajitas, and the beuatiful weather too; a truly perfect day at the beach (in Ireland)!!

Six teams from across DDLETB Colleges took part and the judges had an extremely difficult task as there really was nothing between the top three teams.

In the end, Dundrum’s bridge was announced as the winning sculpture, followed in 2nd place by the Newgrange sculpture from Grange and 3rd place was the Dragon and The Great Wall of China also from Grange.

All students and staff really enjoyed themselves.

Special thanks also to teachers Giovanna, Elsie and Cormac from Grange and Noel from Stillorgan who came along. A lot of photos were taken so watch this space for further news.
